About Dairy Farm Residences
This is the only mixed residential and commercial development in the Dairy Farm Estate. This new upper bukit timah condo between Bukit Panjang, Bukit Batok and Upper Bukit Timah sits on a land of 211,488 square feet. The land is L-shaped, and will have a 2 residential towers of 15 floors each, and 2 smaller blocks of 5 levels each, forming a total of 460 residential units. You can see the distribution of units from the elevation chart.
The concept of Dairy Farm Residences initiated from the idea of a cycle of complete and self-sustaining lifestyle. As a circle is without beginning or end, the symbol signifies “infinity”, with a sense of endless possibilities residents can enjoy in this new mixed development. It is with this theme that the centerpiece of the condominium, the Valley Pool, was conceptualized with a woods-inspired landscaping surrounding a resort-like facilities area for the residents. The 2 to 4 bedroom well-thought-out floor plan designs are distributed within the 4 blocks and 90% of the units are designed to face the north or south, with excellent views of the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve to the South, and the landed estate to the North.
You can see the artist’s impression of this development in the gallery.

Dairy Farm Residences Connectivity
Future Developments In The Vicinity
Dairy Farm Residences will become the nucleus of the Dairy Farm area, given its only status as a mixed commercial and residential development. The neighbouring lands are planned as purely residential developments, and together with the existing private condominiums like Eco Sanctuary and The Skywoods, form the residential cluster of Dairy Farm. As such the convenience of commercial amenities just below the development allures investors and home owners alike, opting for for this unique site plan as their preferred choice if they choose to stay or invest in the region. Former residential units in a mixed development have performed well in the western part of Singapore, like Hillion Residences and The Centris.
The most exciting transformation near Dairy Farm Residences is at the Beauty World area. According to the latest URA masterplan, an integrated transport hub which will include a redeveloped market and hawker centre (replacing the current Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre), an indoor sports hall, a community club and library, and an elderly facility, in addition to a shopping and residential segment.

Dairy Farm Residences Neighbouring Estates
The development of Bukit Panjang town started in 1981, with the first batch of HDB flats completing in 1985, and for the next 10 years HDB blocks from the 100s to the 500s were built on the vast land encased by KJE to the North, BKE to the East, Woodlands Road to the West, and Petir Road to the South. The region south of Petir Road is designated mainly for private residences, like the landed house enclave within Chestnut, Almond and Cashew estate, as well as the condominiums in Dairy Farm Estate. It is here that the Dairy Farm Residences Sales Gallery is located.
Bukit Panjang is a quieter town compared to the mature estates such as Clementi and Toa Payoh, or the new towns that appear regularly in the news because of new government developments. However, it has its major transformation in recent years. The latest was the erection of the Intergrated Transport Hub joining Bukit Panjang LRT / MRT interchange, Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, Hillion Mall and Hillion Residences. This provides convenience to both residents staying near the hub and in the Hillview and Cashew estate.
Shopping Malls Around Dairy Farm Residences
Before Hillion Mall, the Bukit Panjang Central was serviced by 2 key malls, Junction 10 operated by Far East Malls, and Bukit Panjang Plaza operated by Capitaland. When built, Junction 10 was integrated with the Ten Mile Junction LRT station, but because of low demand the LRT station was closed in 2019. Junction 10 has a supermarket, restaurants and enrichment centers to service not only residents from Bukit Panjang, but also those from Phoenix Estate and Teck Whye. Most residents at Bukit Panjang still visit Bukit Panjang Plaza for their daily necessities, because of its wider range of services and goods provided. It has a Fairprice Finest Supermarket, a library and a Harvey Norman Electronics Store. With the introduction of Hillion Mall, the main shopping hub of Bukit Panjang is strongly established in this area, with Hillion Mall providing another supermarket, a wide range of children enrichment centers, Best Denki Electronics Store and numerous food & beverage options.
The Rail Mall along Upper Bukit Timah is also easily accessible from the Dairy Farm Residences location. Although its scale is small with limited shops along the first level of the shophouses that line this stretch, it still has a supermarket, cafes, restaurants and bistros for families and friends to hang out. The retail and F&B offerings provided on the lower levels of Dairy Farm Residences hope to become the next “Mall” for the residents of this area, with its supermarket, food court and childcare services. Numerous shops around the compound will also provide other services for visitors.
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
As the more well known nature reserve in Singapore, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is about 400 acres in size, and residents living on the higher floor units of the elevation chart can see it from their home. They can walk along the Hillview Park Connector that begins across the Dairy Farm Road, pass the Dairy Farm Quarry which is popular for its rock-climbing and abseiling activities, to reach it.
The unique recreational activities at Bukit Timah are hiking and mountain biking. There are designated mountain-bike trails set up around the reserve for enthusiasts, like the popular 6.5 km Bukit Timah Mountain Bike (MTB) Trail that loops around Bukit Timah Hill and stretches between Dairy Farm Road and Hindhede Nature Park. The trail is known for its rocky terrain of extended uphill climbs and short-interval descents. For those who love hiking, there are a 4 key hiking trails available. The shorter blue trail is 0.7 kilometres long and ends at the Hindhede Quarry. The red trail is 1.2 kilometres long, and it considered an easy route together with the blue trail. The green trail is 1.9 kilometres long, and considered moderately challenging. The yellow trail is the most challenging at 1.8 kilometres long.
Parks To the East And Upper Peirce Reservoir
To the East of Dairy Farm Residences is Zhenghua Park, with strolling and running trails which lead to the Bukit Panjang Park to the North, and the Chestnut Nature Park further East. Hikers looking for a challenge can follow the foot trails at Chestnut park all the way North to Mandai. Special mountain biking trails are also available in Chestnut park. The Chestnut Pump Track is a skills training circuit of banked turns and features designed to give mountain bikers the experience of going up and down, thus the term “pumping”. It caters to bikers of every skill level who wish to advance their skills within a safe and controlled environment. This is just a short distance away from the Dairy Farm Residences Site.
Upper Peirce Reservoir is the largest reservoir in Singapore, with a park surrounding the water body. This Upper Peirce Reservoir Park provides visitors with a scenic secondary forest which is government-protected as a water catchment area when the reservoir was constructed. It is 5 hectares in size, and the main activities in this park are bird-watching, nature appreciation and hiking.
