SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) – The preview of the 460-residential-unit mixed development, Dairy Farm Residences, launched by Singapore-listed United Engineers Ltd (UEL) attracted a crowd of around 1,000 over the weekend of Nov 16 and 17, 2019.
Dairy Farm Residences marks the first new condominium offering in the Dairy Farm estate since The Skywoods, which was launched in 2013. The Skywoods is a 420-unit, 99-year leasehold condo developed by a consortium of three real estate developers, namely Hock Lian Seng Holdings, King Wan Corp and TA Corp. It was completed in 2016 and is fully sold to date.
“We are pleased with the turnout and it shows that there is inherent interest in living near nature,” comments Stephanie Chua, UEL’s head of development sales. Dairy Farm Residences is in proximity to Dairy Farm Nature Park and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
Majority of the interest came from residents living in the west of Singapore, although some visitors reside in the central area of Singapore, and some potential buyers came from as far as Pasir Ris, Chua commented.
The apartment layouts offered at this new condo includes two-bedroom units from 624 to 775 square feet, three-bedroom units from 915 to 1,313 square feet, and four-bedroom apartments from 1,324 to 1,475 square feet.
UEL is planning to launch Dairy Farm Residences in a few stages, at an average starting rate from $1,500 to $1,700 psf. The two-bedroom units will be starting from less than $1 million.
An upcoming new development that has also drawn large crowds in the launch day is Kopar At Newton.
